Procedure

There are a number of procedures such as facial implants, resurfacing techniques, and wrinkle reduction that can enhance the outcome of facelift. At first, the surgeon will give you local anesthesia to comfort you during the surgical procedure.

Depending more on the degree of change you would like to see, your facelift preference include a traditional facelift, limited incision facelift or a neck lift. The length of incision differ according to the type of lift, from being hidden in the natural contour of the ear and t hen extending around the earlobe to back into the hairline. After the surgery, the incisions are concealed either by hair or with makeup.

The incisions are place in a way that the scars fall strategically into the natural skin folds and they don’t appear after some time. While working on the incisions, we free the facial skin from its underlying tissue and pull it back and upward. Then, the excess is removed. The deeper tissues can also be repositioned to restore more youthful contour to the face.
