Ideal Candidate

If you have a good heath, positive attitude, and realistic expectations, you may be the best candidate for brow lift and eyelid surgery procedures.

Owing to the advancement of endoscopic techniques, brow lift procedures have evolved from open techniques to more complex short incision. A brow lift commonly includes incisions in the hair-bearing scalp, but in some cases incisions are made in the forehead or/and upper eyelids.

Open Brow lift- During this procedure, the surgeon makes long incisions across your forehead and lifts the skin away from the underlying tissues. The surgeon loosens muscles and removes the fat. He also removes any excess skin, pulls the remaining skin down, and stitches the brow into its new positions.

Endoscopic Brow lift- During this procedure, the surgeon inserts an endoscope through many tiny incisions in the scalp. This allows the surgeon to see and work on the different internal structures of the forehead. This procedure requires very small incisions, but might not be equally beneficial for all candidates.

The type of brow lift you undergo depends more on your facial features and aesthetic preferences.
