Reconstructive urology surgery can help people suffering with the conditions such as cancer, birth defects, male and female incontinence, neurological disorders, scar tissue in the urinary tract, strictures, and pelvic floor prolapsed. It also helps repairing traumatic injuries to the ureter, bladder, kidney, and genitals.

Traumatic injuries are commonly associated with pelvic fractures that may occur as a result of things like falls or motor vehicle accidents, and may lead to scar tissue formation in the urethra.

Practicing in one of the top medical and research facilities, Vimhans PrimaMed’s physicians treat each patient with an individual and personalized approach. Moreover, the Institute of Nephrology & Urology offers a phenomenal clinical trials program in order to detect and prevent the conditions associated with reconstructive urology.

Cancer survivorship- Cancer treatment may leave people with a range of problems related to urinary control, sexual function, and fertility. Our world class experts will find the least invasive treatment to help improving quality of life after cancer.

Some common surgical procedures for:

Urethral Stricture Repairs- Strictures are frequent in men than women. Urethral Stricture is narrowing of the urethra usually caused by instrumentation, infection, injury, and certain non-infectious forms of urethritis. Common symptoms of a urethral stricture include weak urine flow, reduction in the volume of urine, burning during urination, penile swelling and pain, sudden and frequent urges to urinate, and urethral discharge.

Penile Prosthesis- A penile prosthesis is a treatment option for men with erectile dysfunction. The simplest type of prosthesis generally consists a pair of bendable (malleable) rods implanted surgically within the erection chambers of the penis. With this implantation the penis is always semi-rigid and hardly needs to be adjusted or lifted into the erect position to initiate sex.

Pelvic Organ Prolapsed- It occurs when a pelvic organ, such as the bladder, drops from its usual place in the lower belly and pushes against the walls of the vagina.
